Hot Ink Shops
Hot Ink Shops is a free service we offer to allow creative people just like you to sell your own designs and t-shirts online. Its a quick an easy way for you to be your own fashion label without having to worry about producing shirts, printing, invoicing, billing and shipping.
How does it work?
First step is to Sign Up for a free account with Hot Ink. You can then activate your Hot Ink Shop in your My Account area. Give your shop a unique name and our system will generate a direct link to your store, eg www.hotinkclothing.com.au/shop/MyShopName.
Use our graphics to design your clothing, upload your own, whatever. Its easy, its free and its a great way to use your creativity to make money. After you create your design you set how much money you want to make on each shirt. For example if we sell a shirt for $40, you might want to sell it for $50 and pocket the $10 difference.
When a customer logs on your site and buys one of your designs, we will accept their payment based on your marked up price, produce and ship their shirt, and then pay you the differnce. So easy.
What do I need to open up a shop?
The only requirements we have are that you must be an Australian resident, and you must have an active ABN (Australian Business Number). Without an ABN we cannot pay you! You must also abide and agree to our Terms and Conditions.
How and when do I get paid?
Profit processing will be carried out on the 25th of every calendar month. To be eligible for payment you must have accumulated at least $50 AUD worth of profit. Payments will be mailed out to you in the form of a Cheque. If you have not generated $50 AUD in profits you will not be issued a cheque and your profits will roll over to the next month. Your profits will never forfeit and will remain with Hot Ink Pty Ltd until they reach the amount of $50 AUD, for then at the time of processing you will be eligible to receive payment.
How do I get more people to buy my designs?
When you sign up for a Hot Ink Shop you are given your own URL which takes people straight to your shop. The best way to get more people to your shop is to advertise this URL in as many places as you can. Email the link to all your friends and family, write blogs about it, announce it to people on your Facebook and Twitter accounts, participate in online forums and chats. The more people that see your shop means the more chance you have of making money!
